Security researchers found an unprotected Google Cloud storage bucket belonging to AI chatbot-builder WotNot containing 346,381 files from the company’s free-tier users, including passports, national ID cards, resumes, and detailed medical records with diagnoses and test results. WotNot attributed the exposure to a misconfiguration in its cloud storage policies affecting free-tier customer data. The bucket was secured after researchers disclosed the finding.
